Connections

A connection specifies the location of the host and other settings of how to communicate with the Topaz for Total Test Functional Test Host server and the database system. New connections are only created when new physical servers arrive. This can be z/OS machines, RD/T boxes and even a Linux/windows machine for simulating a mainframe. Connections are defined under Configuration > Connections, and only administrators can add and change them. Setting up connections is described in the Functional Test installation and configuration document.
