DFSDBAU0

DFSDBAU0 authorizes database requests for a subsystem's Data Base Recover Control (DBRC). It validates the processing intent specified for each database against the access parameters defined for the subsystem. DFSDBAU0 also calls DBRC to request database use authorization and builds a request list for databases which are not currently authorized. DFSDBAU0 will return error messages if authorization requirements are unmet.

DBRC (Data Base Recover Control) is a feature included in the IMS Database system to permit easier recovery of IMS databases. DBRC maintains information required for database recoveries, generates recovery control statement, verifies recovery input, maintains a separate change log for database data sets, and supports sharing of IMS databases by multiple IMS subsystems.
