ARCH

The ARCH option was introduced in Enterprise COBOL V5. This option specifies the machine architecture to use in generating the program instructions. This setting should be set to the lowest architecture level that the program will be executed on. See the Enterprise COBOL Programming guide for details on setting the ARCH option.
