DPF*

DPF are the first three characters of the BMC Software Inc. product Data Packer/Fast Path. Data Packer/Fast Path provides data compression for IMS/VS Fast Path DEDB data bases. It uses integrity checks, provides variable-length segment split protection, and uses Extended Compression Architecture (XCA) to isolate compression routines from user data.
