Module DSNB1CMU is the Buffer Manager Commit module. It commits Unit of Work (UW) Pages. It is part of the Buffer Manager code within the Data Manager address space. The larger the number of pages that an application updates, the more work this module has to perform to track all the updated pages and to ensure that all the pages have been passed to the log manager and successfully written.
