.COMMONX

.COMMONX is a pseudo-section that represents activity in the system common areas above the 16-megabyte address line for which Strobe could not identify a module name. This includes processing in the CSA and system queue area.

Hints

High processing in .COMMONX is often reported when the proper Strobe option is not used during the measurement. If measuring IMS or Db2, be sure that Strobe for IMS and Strobe for Db2 are installed.
