DFHDSDS3

DFHDSDS3 is the main dispatcher loop of CICS. It runs continuously in the CICS region, searching for and dispatching CICS transactions.

Hints

You cannot reduce wait time in DFHDSDS3. On the attribution of wait time report, wait time will be attributed to either .NOWORK or .USERTSK. .NOWORK indicates that there were no transactions in the system; there was nothing for CICS to do. .USERTSK indicates that there were tasks in the system but none of them were dispatchable; all tasks were suspended for some reason (for example, I/O).
