DFHISP

DFHISP is the CICS intersystem communication program that is invoked when a request to access resource has to be shipped to a remote system (through ISC or MRO). The requests passed to DFHISP are:

  • File control

  • Interval control

  • Temporary storage

  • Transient data

  • DL/I

DFHISP controls the acquisition, use, and freeing of a session to the remote system, and invokes DFHXFP or DFHXFX to process requests and replies.

DFHISP is called by DFHDLI, DFHELR, DFHEIP, and DFHFCEI.
