DSNKFTCH

DSNKFTCH is used to obtain a RID from temporary space in an index for the Manipulative Services Recording Area.

Hints

DSNKFTCH should be a high usage module. The idea is to get data from the index rather than the table. Type 2 indexes are preferred to type 1, because there is no locking.
