SVC 060

SVC 060 is a Type 2 SVC invoked by an ESTAE routine, which is a recovery routine. This macro gets a LOCAL lock and calls program IGC060 in load module IEAVSTA0.

When a program or instruction terminates abnormally, the recovery/termination manager (RTM) invokes a recovery routine. The ESTAE routine can perform pre-termination functions and diagnose an error.

Hints

Any CPU or wait time reported to SVC 060 generally means that the application program measured abended during the Strobe measurement. It is best to correct the problem and measure again.
