DFSCLMR0

DFSCLMR0 is the message generator resident processor that acts as a service module to generate and/or route system messages to terminals and the system console. The message may be supplied by the caller, be defined in one of the system/user message tables, or be given by the command being processed.

If queues are not available, DFSCLMR0 determines if the message can be sent to the requested destination or has to be rerouted to the system console. If the specified destination is the link between the active and the backup subsystems under a hot standby environment, the above rerouting will be suppressed. If the destination of a message is invalid, the message is rerouted to the master terminal.
