DFSDBH30

DFSDBH30 is the OSAM Buffer Purge Routine. When a buffer is purged it is written to DASD. DFSDBH30 can be invoked to purge a single buffer, to purge all buffers for a user, or to purge all buffers in a subpool. If multiple buffers are being written to DASD, DFSDBH30 will try to write multiple blocks with one chained I/O.

Hints

The amount of CPU used by module DFSDBH30 should always be very small, less than 1%.
