DFSBCB00

DFSBCB00 checks whether the pool definition indicates that additional storage can be obtained before calling the IPAGE GET function in DFSBCB30. At batch initialization time, DFSBCB00 forces each pool to non-compressible status causing latching to be bypassed.

The interface to DFSBCB00 is the Asynchronous Work Element (AWE) interface. The quick interface obtains the primary blocks needed to use the AWE interface, except for OSAM which behaves differently. AWE GET/REL is handled by entry DFSBCB80 in module DFSBCB30.
