NUMPROC directs how packed/zoned decimal signs are processed. Review these settings for the best performance for your application.

NUMPROC(NOPFD) is the slowest.
NUMPROC(MIG) is faster. It is not supported in Enterprise COBOL Version 5.1 and later.
NUMPROC(PFD) is the fastest.
