DFSFTIM0

DFSFTIM0 provides date and time services for IMS. It maintains the date, which is stored in the main IMS control block (SCD), and it will return to the caller the packed date (in the form 00YYDDDF) and time (in the form HHMMSSTH) to hundredths of a second. It reconciles the date and time returned by the MVS store clock instruction (STCK) with the date and time returned by the MVS TIME macro.

Hints

DFSFTIM0 should not have a lot of CPU use. One case where CPU use was noted was with a program that took more than 10 checkpoints a second.
