SVC 011

SVC 011 is a Type 3 SVC issued by the TIME macro (IEAVRT01). This macro does not get a lock and calls program IGC0001A in load module IEAVRT01. It places the elapsed time in hours, minutes, seconds, tenths of a second, and hundredths of a second in R0. The current value of the Time-of-Day Clock can also be requested.

Hints

SVC 011 uses a large amount of CPU if the system time is called excessively. To reduce this CPU consumption, accept the time once into a working storage field, and use it for further processing when needed.
