Job CPU Usage View

Job CPU Usage View shows the distribution of CPU time used by each active control section of each module in the target program or subsystem. The list of data view fields and definitions includes the following:

 

 

PROFILE_NAME

The name of the profile.

JOB_MEASUREMENT_TS

The timestamp when the measurement was started.

OWNER

The user ID or job name that initiated the request.

PROFILE_PATH

The path where the profile is located.

ASID

Address Space ID.

CONDITION_CODE

Condition code is code generated when the target program terminated normally while it was being measured.

CPU_MODEL

The model number of the central processing unit that executed the target program or subsystem.

DB2_MODULE

The name of DB2 module.

DB2_SYSID

The subsystem ID.

DFA_NAME

The name of DFP (Data Facility Product) under which the measurement was performed.

DFA_VERSION

The version of DFP (Data Facility Product) under which the measurement was performed.

IMS_MODULE

The name of IMS module.

JOB_NAME

The name of the job under which the program or subsystem executed.

JOB_NUMBER

The Job Entry Subsystem (JES) number of the target job.

LPAR

The name of the logical partition in which the target job executed.

OPSYS

Operating system.

PROGRAM_NAME

The name of the program in which execution of the target program or subsystem was initiated.

REG_ABOVE

Tthe size of the region above the 16-megabyte address line available during the measurement session.

REG_BELOW

The size of the region above the 16-megabyte address line available during the measurement session.

SESSION_DATE

The calendar date on which the measurement session was initiated.

SESSION_TIME

The time of day at which the measurement session was initiated.

STEP

The name of the job step, or of the procedure step and job step, in which the program or subsystem was executed.

PROC_STEP

The name in a procedure.

SYSTEM_ID

Identifies the System Management Facility (SMF) ID and MVS system name on which the measurement session was performed.

SYSTEM_ID_LABEL

The  MVS system name on which the measurement session was performed.

ZAAP_COUNT

The number of zAAPs (z-Series Application Assist Processors) on the measured LPAR. Appears when the LPAR on which a measured Java application ran used zAAP processors.

ZIIP_COUNT

The number of zIIPs (z-Series Integrated Information Processors) on the measured LPAR. Appears when the LPAR on which a measured application ran used zIIP processors.

FOLDER_NAME

The name of the folder where profile is located.

CPU_TIME

The amount of time during the measurement session that one or more CPUs were executing tasks in the measured job step, exclusive of the measurement task itself, expressed in minutes and seconds to the nearest hundredth.

SESSION_LENGTH_TIME

 

ADDRESS_SPACE

The address space of MVS.

SRB_TIME

The amount of time during which the system was executing service request blocks (SRBs), which represent high-priority service routines.

EXEC_TIME

The amount of run time during the measurement session that one or more CPUs were executing tasks in the measured job step, exclusive of the measurement task itself, expressed in minutes and seconds to the nearest hundredth.

WAIT_TIME

The estimated portion of run time that no task within the measured address space was able to make use of the CPU time available to it, expressed in minutes and seconds to the nearest hundredth.

STRETCH_TIME

The estimated amount of time that the CPU was unavailable to process programs executing in the address space because of demands by higher-priority address spaces and by SRB processing time for all address spaces.

SERVICE_UNITS

The amount of CPU execution activity observed during the measurement session.

EXCP_COUNT

Shows the number of I/O operations performed on the data set during the measurement session.
