DFSDBH00

DFSDBH00 is the load module for the DL/I OSAM buffer handling routines. It is composed of four source modules:

·    DFSDBH10 - OSAM Buffer Handler

·    DFSDBH20 - OSAM Buffer Handler Steal Routine

·    DFSDBH30 - OSAM Buffer Handler Purge Routine

·    DFSDBH40 - OSAM Buffer Handler I/O Error Routine

You can find detailed information in the description for each module.

Hints

If the OSAM buffer handler routines show a great deal of activity, examine the IMS calling patterns. Also, consider using OSAM sequential buffering. See the description for load module DFSSBIL0.
