DFHSPZ

DFHSPZ is the CICS syncpoint resource manager. It coordinates syncpoint protocols among connected systems. It is called by DFHSPP, the CICS syncpoint program, whenever an application issues a SYNCPOINT, SYNCPOINT ROLLBACK, or ISSUE PREPARE command.

DFHSPZ performs functions such as end-of-task processing for connected systems and resynchronization of LU6.2 units of working after a system failure or at system startup.
