IDA019RZ

IDA019RZ is a CSECT within load module IDA019L1. It is invoked for all frequently used buffer functions. IDA019RZ contains macros that perform such functions as retrieving the next control interval in sequential GET processing, and freeing buffers.

To manage storage areas, IDA019RZ calls IDA019R2 (VSAM BUFFER MANAGEMENT) for requests that do not specify shared resources. For requests that require shared resources, IDA019RZ calls IDA019RY (VSAM SHARED RESOURCES BUFFER MANAGEMENT-1) or IDA019SY (VSAM SHARED RESOURCES BUFFER MANAGEMENT-2).
