.COMMON

.COMMON is a pseudo-section that represents activity in the system common area (CSA, SQA, and LPA) for which Strobe could not identify a module name.

Hints

High processing in .COMMON is often reported when the proper Strobe option was not used during the measurement. If measuring IMS or Db2, be sure that Strobe for IMS and Strobe for Db2 are installed.
