Create a Profile Baseline

Allows you to create a baseline profile from one or more profiles. This baseline profile can be used to create an average of selected profiles. This average can then be used at the myStrobe Profile level to quickly see differences at this level. You cannot select the baseline as it will be a display only entry in Profiles.

Note: The Profile Baseline function is not available for group profiles.

To create a baseline

  1. Navigate to the folder or subdirectory containing the profiles to be used for the baseline. The list of profiles stored in the folder appears in the Profiles table in myStrobe.

  2. From the Profiles table in myStrobe, press and hold Ctrl while selecting two or more profiles to be included in the baseline.

  3. With the profiles selected, use the myStrobe menu to select Create Profile Baseline. You may also right-click on any of the highlighted profiles and select Create Profile Baseline from the context menu.

  4. From the Create Profile Baseline dialog box, specify a name for the baseline and click OK. The baseline is created and inserted as a new status type named Base Line within the Profiles table.

The data in Total CPU Time, Total Elapsed Time, Total Wait Time, Stretch Time, and Total EXCPs is expressed as an average of the selected profiles.

The Start Time uses the current date of the baseline creation. The Owner ID will populate using the current user.
