DSN3EPX

DSN3EPX is called when the prefix used for command access to Db2 can not be registered. This means the Db2 Subsystem can not start.

Hints

If this is a single MVS image, check that the Db2 subsystem is not already started or possibly hung during its shutdown or startup.

If this is a DASD Sharing environment, check there is not a Db2 subsystem with the same prefix already started in the complex.
