DFHSMGF

DFHSMGF is the storage manager domain's getmain/freemain program that manages virtual storage requests. DFHSMGF's GETMAIN function allocates an element of CICS managed storage from a CICS storage subpool. The FREEMAIN function releases an element of storage within a storage subpool. Another function of the DFHSMGF is INQUIRE_ELEMENT_LENGTH, used to inquire the length of an element of storage whose address is known.
