DFSLATE0

DFSLATE0 is the latch extension routine that obtains or releases the DB checkpoint latch, the DC checkpoint latch, and the conversation latch (which is used to serialize the events in a conversation). Checkpoint latches can be obtained in either shared or exclusive mode. They serialize the processing between checkpointing of blocks and the update of the checkpointed blocks.
