DFSSBEV1

DFSSBEV1 is a CSECT within load module DFSSBEV0. DFSSBEV0 calls it to evaluate the Sequential Buffering (SB) process. It bases the evaluation on the I/O rate of an SDSG and the "sequentiality" of the SDSG. DFSSBEV1 determines the costs of buffering with and without SB. Based upon the evaluation, SB may be dynamically activated or deactivated, and buffers may be acquired. DFSSBEV1 also maintains the statistics required for evaluations in the SDSG.
